9 Weeks Old

Lilly is now 9 weeks old, she went to the doctor last week and she now weighs 7.4 lbs! She is smiling and cooing more. Lilly is a very active baby, she is well on her way to crawling, she has the motion down. The rest of the family is doing good too. Kristofer has started his second semester of school and so far is loving it, even though it's supposed to be the hardest semester of the course.

Lilly is doing awesome. she is getting bigger and bigger. We think she weighs close to 5 1/2 - 6 lbs. now. She is doing so good with tummy time and holding her head up. we finally got a good night sleep last night, thanks to our friend Margie who lent us her swing, Lilly just loves it. Lilly has almost out grown her preemie clothes, not quite, but almost time for newborn size. We just love her so much.

Back to School

Well, grades came out, and I did much better than I thought my first semester. For anyone that doesn't know...I'm pursuing a Masters Degree of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I was a little stressed about it being that I hadn't been in a classroom for who knows how long. But as luck would have it, I got 5 A's and a B+!!! Just a little more reassurance that I am doing what I should be doing, and doing it well.

School starts back up in a week and a half and rumor has it that this next semester is the hardest of the entire program. I'm much more confident though, knowing what I can do, and how well I can do it. The only difference is...I have a small distraction in this adorable little baby of ours. Best distraction ever, by the way.
